Front Office Receptionist – PT

Hotel Not Hotel is a special appearance on the hotel market. This is because of the idiosyncratic concept and the collaboration with various artists. As the name suggests, Hotel Not Hotel is more than just an overnight stay. Rooms are hidden in, or disguised as, artistic objects. The hotel consists of a large space with all rooms opening onto a common lobby. So no anonymous hotel corridors!

Located next to Rotterdam Central, Hotel Not Hotel Rotterdam has recently opened. The hotel has 33 rooms, which will be expanded to 52 rooms in the next phase. Our hotel is characterized by its special design, collaboration with renowned artists, a Mexican restaurant and a cocktail bar where we focus on both hotel guests and locals. All this makes HNH a unique addition to the Rotterdam hotel market.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you enjoy making guests feel at home and giving them the feeling of coming home? As a Front Office Receptionist you will be closely involved in the Housekeeping and F&B department. You welcome our guests, check them in and show them around the hotel. You answer the phone, process incoming e-mails and payments and help the F&B department during breakfast, lunch and dinner. You solve problems and as a host you give the guests tips about Rotterdam. One thing is certain, no day is the same at Hotel Not Hotel.

ACTIVITIES

Giving our guests an unforgettable time!
Check-in and check-out of guests.
Create and manage hotel reservations.
Answer emails and phone calls.
Processing payments.
Service recovery.
Follow along and support the Food & Beverage department.
Coordinating Housekeeping.
Contribute to social media by creating content and sharing stories and posts.
Provide guests with tips and tricks during their stay in Rotterdam.

REQUIREMENTS

You are a real team player.
You are easily approachable, spontaneous and hospitable.
You have a hands-on mentality.
You have an excellent command of the English and/or Dutch language in word and writing, the more the merrier.
You are very flexible in terms of working hours and days.
You are hospitality minded and like to make people happy.
You are available  from November 2022.
